City of Austin Boil Water Notice: Round Rock ISD Campus Impact, District Action. The City of Austin has announced a Boil Water Notice for all residents. Several Round Rock ISD schools are located in the City of Austin and/or utilize the city's water system. District staff has been working through the weekend to ensure all students and staff members at affected campuses have access to clean drinking water and the resources needed to continue the instructional day as uninterrupted as possible.
Affected campuses will have bottled water and water stations provided. To conserve as much as possible, it would be helpful if parents/guardians send their student(s) with refillable water bottles filled with either bottled water or tap water boiled for at least three minutes. Staff should also bring refillable water bottles if possible.
Food Services has adjusted their menus to minimize the need for water and have clean, boiled water available when necessary.
